Modular homes vs building a home which is better right now?

In terms of quality and pricing. If you have experience's to share that would be great to. Thanks a lot :)

1. If I wanted a bespoke home I'd choose self build, If I wanted it in a hurry I'd probably go for modular, both these options are Ok but for very differnet reasons, With modular its time, perhaps with self build it might be other choices amoungst which might be better if you want more say in the finnishes
2. The quality of modular homes is much better than it used to be. You can go from a bare lot to living in your house in around a month to five weeks. You can walk around in a model house that will be pretty much identical to what you want prior to buying so that you know if you really like the layout or not. As far as selling, I'm not sure that the value of a modular goes up quite as well as a stick built. That's about all my ideas. Good luck
3. building a home will be easier to finance and re-finance than modular homes. appreciation in value verses depreciation in value.
