Would Home depot cut out a hard design thing for me out of wood?
I want to make a keyblade from Kingdom Hearts, and I have barley any tools. Would Home Depot or any simular hardware store cut out the design for me on wood?

- I'm pretty sure Home Depot, etc., only makes straight cuts (on their special machine for making cuts). Unless you found someone there who had a bandsaw or something like that at home who was willing to do it for you outside the store, I don't think they'd be a good place. You can buy an electric jig saw (may be other names**) yourself and cut out just about anything you want though fairly quickly using only something to hold the wood up off the ground or other surface though, and you can get inexpensive ones though they come in all prices (corded ones will be cheapest). Or borrow one from someone. You will probably need some sandpaper to smooth the cut edges though. http://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+use+jigsaw http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jigsaw_%28power_tool%29 http://www.amazon.com/Kawasaki-840067-3-5-Amp-Variable-Speed/dp/B000H4I5V0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1259356038&sr=1-1 http://www.amazon.com/Black-Decker-JS515-Variable-Jigsaw/dp/B001CL4ZHK/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1259356038&sr=1-9 http://www.google.com/images?q=electric+jigsaw ** Someone else wrote this: "The terminology has changed now and what used to be called a jig saw is now called a scroll saw, and what used to be called a sabre saw is now called a jig saw." So just look at the pics in the links above! HTH, Diane B.
