home depot ............................?

I need wood cut for some shelves and know that home depot will cut it.....or at least that's what other people said but when i asked how much it costs some people said first 2 are free then all the others are 25 cents. other people said $1 per cut. Does anyone know the really price of having wood cut at home depot? yea good luck trying to get through i tried that it was the first thing i did then looked on the site and still no answer

2. I used to work at home depot. It depends on the store and the associate. Most of the time, my store didn't even charge it unless you wanted a LOT of little cuts. So it depends on how many cuts you need. Also, be extra nice. If you are a B**** about it, then most likely they will charge you! No one wants to help anyone who is rude to them. The policy is the first 2 cuts are free, 25 cents after each other cut. But if you only need like 4 cuts, they probably won't even charge you. It is really up to the associate to decide if they charge you or not. Try going at a less busy time when they aren't too busy or you may have to wait awhile!
