Can you use a Lowes 10% off card at other home improvement stores?

I found people on E BAY selling Lowes 10% off cards and claiming that you can use them at other home improvement centers besides Lowes such as Menards or Home Depot. Is this true & has anyone actually done this?

1. Our Home Depot honors Lowes coupons, as well as Lowes honoring Home Depots. Check with your post office before you buy these. Ours has the coupons in the change of address package for free. Also, you can get one by going to lowes.com/moving
2. I have heard that folks have been able to use these at The Home Depot. Just ask at the Customer Service Desk before you shop. Why not just call your local Home Depot and ask? Good Luck!
3. Make sure they're real first. There are people out there who make their money on manufacturing fraudulent coupons. Do you have a Lowe's near you? You should look for HD coupons and use them at Lowe's. Home Depot isn't as friendly a place.
