- It's not the best place for your refrigerator, as the heat from the stove will cause it to work harder to maintain its temperature. However it can be done. Consider an insulating panel between the two.
- I don't think that it would be good for the refrigerator to have the stove sitting right beside it as the heat from the stove will cause the fridge to work harder to keep your food cool. I think that you could put them near each other but with a small divider or space between them. Also think about opening the fridge and the oven door at the same time - will the doors hit each other and can someone walk around them? Generally, the ideal layout of a kitchen is to have an easy to navigate triangle between the sink, the stove and the refrigerator as these are the areas that are used the most.
- I wouldn't advise putting the stove and fridge up against each other. When you use the range or the oven it will make the side of the refrigerator very warm and cause it to run a lot. You could put a heatproof insulator between them if you have any space at all.
- All of the above answers have merit, although I do question the heat problems from the use of the stove. A refrigerator is well insulated to keep the cold in, why wouldn't it keep the heat out? I would think a bigger problem would be the actual use of the stove. The side where the refrigerator is located will be restricted by space for cooking. Also, grease and oil spatter from cooking would soon coat the side of the refrigerator. You may be creating a cleaning nightmare. Also, when removing hot pans from that side, you may hit the refrigerator causing spillage of hot food. Generally, a stove is located between two cupboards to avoid these issues.
