What can I write off from my home renovations on my Canadian income tax?

I'm an independent contractor with a home office. Can I include outdoor work, such as interlock and fencing?

2. Is your business interlock and fencing. In that case you might have a case in "building a display". You'd have to make it a business habit and frequently remove and replace the work on display. My friend the professional photographer writes off the landscaping of his property since he occasionally shoots photos of people there.
