What do you think about the renovations that were done to Soldier Field in Chicago?
Does it mesh with the 'old' style? Has the purpose of the stadium changed because of the new additions? Were you disappointed?

- It looks fine from the inside, kinda ridiculous from the outside, but I guess they had to do it. It was either that or tear it down, which nobody in Chicago would've been happy about.
- Should have been made into a dome! The double cost override would have paid for a removable roof that would have really been better than what was done there. Looks totally stupid in design this way.
- I once heard someone say that it looks like a space ship landed in Soldier Field. That's really true. They kind of had the right idea, keep the shell extend upward, but it seems to me they could've made it a bit more cohesive. On the other hand, the design does match the look they have going on in Millenium Park.
- It looks like a big toilet bowl on top of the stadium. Yeah I was disappointed because of that and also the stadium was taken off the historical landmark list.
- It's pretty stupid looking, but at least they kept the old outsides. People do say that it's a lot better on the inside now. My mom came for a visit after moving away, and when she saw the stadium she laughed her head off because of how stupid it looks. It does look like a spaceship inside the old stadium.
- On the inside it looks great. You can actually walk all the way around it now and still see the action on the field, sort of like US Cellular field. But on the outside it looks like crap, like a space ship crashed into the Parthanon.
- Hate it - they shouldn't have tried to mix styles like that...I liked it better before.
- It made it a great place to watch a game on the inside - the sightlines are great, and the screens are terrific - but on the outside, it looks truly ridiculous. There's no meshing of the new and old at all - like the Starship Enterprise was added to the Parthenon.
- I hate it, personally. It looks like an alien ship landed on a perfectly beautiful structure!
- It looks good and its not a dome cause ne team who isnt from a cold city is gonna get cold quicker and its gonna give Chicago an advantage
- I hate it-it looks like a space ship landed on a beautiful roman center.
