What is the program that will allow you to see your house with renovations or additions? PC program you can..?

Program you use to make renovations or additions to your home on pc. You scan house picture or dimensions and it makes a sketch and possibly calculates materials? Anyone know what I am talking about? I saw it on TV, but not lately.

One of the best packages available for individuals is "Home Designer Suite" from http://www.homedesignersoftware.com/ Anything that needs to get a remodel design accurate is going to require entry of the design into the program (not just scanning). Expect to spend a few days learning the tool and then several days to weeks modeling the existing home and planning the remodel. Don't scrimp on the tool or the learning curve, it takes both to get your job planned.
