Do you have the Home Depot Consumer Credit Card? How is it? What's your limit? Applied for the Home Depot Consumer Credit Card this evening.. I've scanned through several reviews, but would like more. Our credit is good. We've never missed a payment, ever, in several years of having credit history. All payments have been on time and over the expected amount. We're simply adding additional credit lines to improve credit. We were told it would be a good idea to do so. How is this card? What was your approved credit limit? Have you had any problems? Thanks in advance.

Does a Home Depot consumer credit card count towards credit to debt ratio? Hi all, I have a Home Depot Consumer Credit Card that I am about to pay off and considering cancelling it (have had it for about 2 years). The card has a credit limit of $14K. Note that this card does not have a Visa or MC logo on it. I also have a couple of other credit cards with open balances. My question is if I cancel the Home Depot card will my credit to debt ratio get reduced by the $14k? If it does, then I am assuming it may hurt my credit score? So would it be better to leave it open until all my other credit cards are paid off? All revolving accounts weather they have a Visa or Mastercard logo on them or... SPIFIMAN1, you mentioned that "A simple way to tell is to add up all of your total debt and divide by your total credit if the resulting number exceeds 30% then your score is going to take a hit.", can you clarify what counts towards the total debt in this case (is it just credit cards or does it include auto loans, students loans, mortgages...etc)?
When you are preapproved for a credit card(home depot)do they run your credit report again and turn you down? I have been preapproved but if they rerun my report it will lower my score even more. It has already went down from 653 to 583 due to hospital bills in collections.

Can I Sue for Home Depot & CITI card for allowing a customer to transfer his Home Depot purchase to my credit? Home Depot knowly and willfully let a consumer apply $9761.64 back in Oct. 2005. The consumer had it on his credit card for 6 months before having Home Depot apply it to my card. My credit card is on file and we work with Home Depot all the time and they know me (this is a personal credit card not a business). It showed up on my credit card as a misapplied sales in Nov. 2005 so I figured is was my husband building he put on in Oct. 2005. We paid payments any where from 570.00 to over 1000.00 a month till Dec. of 2006. We diputed it called Home Depot and Citi card explaining what happen and no one would help us. In Dec. 2006 I came across some paper work belonging to the consumer we had build a cabin for and saw the receipt attached and the amount of 9761.64 and the ending 4 digit of his credit card. Can I sue the consumer who did this to my card to? I know they said you only have 60 days to dispute a puchase but the consumer who applied this had 6 months and Home Depot allowed him to. Can I sue Home Depot for them putting on my credit card? Can I sue CITI card for ruining my credit score because of something Home Depot allowed a customer to do delibertly. Home Depot would not tell me where the charges came from untill I came across the paper work from this customers file showing me his purchase and the purchase amount. When I final figure out who's bill it was I contacted Home Depot and CITI Card and told them the name of the person and neither did anything about it, I quit paying my bill and now they show it as a charge off on my credit report. There is alot more to this story then I can every go into. I would like to know what right does Home Depot have to do such a transaction? This was not a mistake. Home Depot corp. contacted me stating that they had a letter they had sent to me which I don't recall seeing and I had asked them to fax it to me, never did. Just to let you know the gentleman that had this transfer to my account also did this to my Visa card to a few months before this happen - but this one I nab right away.

He missed some payments and now its killing my credit report. How can I get my name taken off and more importantly how can I make the change occur quickly?
Not sure where i heard this...home depot lines of credit...? I heard that a Home Depot credit card holder was remodeling their house and went to the store to ask for a credit line increase for the amount it would be to remodel...I want to say that it was a pretty steep amount too and Home depot agreed to raise their line of credit to this amount. Has anyone ever heard of anybody doing this or has anybody done this themselves? i guess I wasn't clear enough in my question...my question is not how credit increases work...I know that. The question is, will Home Depot accomodate the consumer with the amount needed to rebuild/remodel. Lets say I own a house and I want to remodel and I expect the cost to be around 100,000. Will Home depot increase you limit to $100,000? I heard that someone had done this and Home Depot agreed to increase the limit by their estimate of cost.
did anyone ever use home depot contractor service? im thinking of doing a bathroom remodel i thought it would be easy to use my home depot credit card to purchase and pay for contracting services all in one....has anyone used home depot for this???? is it inexpensive? i need tile flooring instal new pedestal sink and painting....

How can i pay my debt on credit cards, if they are cancelled? I have chase and home depot credit card accounts. Both of them are cancelled. I didn't touch them more then 3 months. On chase is limit 2250 and debt is 2800 and HD limit is 2600 and debt 3200. Both of my online account are cancelled too. I would like to finally pay monthly my debts, but i dont know how. It is possible, that my debts has collecting agency? How this works? I am not a citizen and i am not familiar with this problem. Thnx
How much debt can I incur on my card without getting my lines of credit lowered? I have no credit card debt and an an excellent credit report. I am going to do a small remodel on my rental property and plan to use my Home Depot card with no interest no payment for 12 months. I plan to use a few other cards as well. I thought that 30% is the best to load on to each card to maintain my credit score. Am I correct?
Where do I call to declare my Home Hardware credit card lost? I've either lost my Home Hardware (think Canadian Home Depot or Ace Hardware) credit card somewhere in my apartment or it's sleeping with the fishes from my vacation last week in the woods. I want to declare my card lost but the Home Hardware phoneline doesn't list anything related to declaring my card lost or stolen. Did I miss a step on their automated phone line or do I call a completely different number? Any Home Hardware employees or HH customers with their own cards know this one?
Does it hurt your credit to have a credit card that you never use? I have 2 credit cards, a mastercard that I use regularily but pay in full at the end of each month and a home depot card that I never use and don't even keep in my wallet. I got the home depot card to get a discount on a big purchase almost a year ago, paid it off in full right away, and have never used it again. Is having this card registered to me hurting my credit? Should I cancel it or is it bad to cancel cards also?
Don't Credit Card Companies that will not "work with you" in bad times like Home Depot realize consequences? I still have excellent credit however, where my other companies are working with me, Firestone and Home Depot will not. Don't they realize in the long term they lose customers when customers get back on their feet. Hello, Lowes!
can I sue home depot? After returning an item to store, I was told it could not go back on my home depot credit card and must be put on a store credit card. A week later I lost the home depot store credit card with $404 left on the card. I contact the local store who called lost prevention and canceled the card and confirmed with the store manager the card still had $404 balance. Afterward the store manager said store policy did not allowed them the replace the card. However the store manager was able to look up my card number and provided the complete number of the lost card. I contacted the corporate office customer service who said they spoke to upper management who said "Sorry, but we can not replace your card." My argument if you have the full card number than I should be allow to manually enter the number in check out so I can use it. Just because you don't have the physical card you should be allow to punch in the number as with any credit card???????
Home Depot financing? I have a coupon for my Home Depot Credit Card that says "no interest on purchases of $299 or more, if paid in full within 12 months." Does that mean I have to buy an item that costs over $299 or can I buy multiple things that add up to more than $299?
Is Home Depot screwing big ticket buyers? like many of you with a Home Depot credit card, I receive a monthly invite to spend more than $299 at no interest, no payments, for 12 months. I've been getting those mailers for years. Seldom did I use the offer since it made more sense to use my skymiles credit card. However, for big ticket items at Home Depot, like appliances and water heaters and flooring etc, over the past 15 years I have used the no interest no payment option. Last Sept I bought a $1250 stove, then in Feb I bought a $650 water heater. Assuming I was paying no interest for 12 months, I paid $200/month cash every month at a cashier. Turns out 'ol Home Depot has changed their promotion to 6 months instead of 12 (which I didn't notice), and that the largest remaining balance on promotional, no interest purchases gets applied to first, not the balance that was created first. End result is today, after paying my $200/month vs the stove debit, figuring I'd pay the water heater debit after the stove debit, I find out that once my stove balance fell below the water heater balance of $650, any future payments would be applied to the water heater balance, not the stove balance. Confused yet? So was I. End result: since I didn't pay off the $1250 stove before my balance dipped below the cost of the $650 water heater, I was charged interest on the $1250.....at 26%. Eff Home Depot, eff credit cards, eff em all
Question about canceling my credit card and opening a new one.? So, I'm interested in applying for a new card through Apple (Barclaycard Financing Visa Card). But I realize I have too many cards open currently. First, some information about my cards and history. I have an Old Navy, Discover, Walmart, Victoria Secret, and Home Depot Credit Card. I got them in that order, the Old Navy and Discover Card having about a month or less of time difference. The Discover and Walmart, I constantly use. The Home Depot one, I got because of my mom (our backyard was robbed, she does not have the score to get a card, so I helped her out). The Victoria Secret Card, I use more often than the Old Navy (Last time I used Old Navy was when I first got it). The reason I got Old Navy was because I needed to get some credit before I could go get the Discover. With the exception of a few times, I have paid everything off on time and in full each month. Keep in mind that I am 20, going on 21 in a few months, I got my first card (Old Navy) when I turned 19, so almost 2 years ago. I've checked my score recently, and I am in the mid-700's. So my question is .. should I cancel Old Navy first and then apply for the Apple one, or should I apply for Apple and then cancel Old Navy? I know canceling the oldest card is bad, but I don't have much of a history, and the difference between the first and second isn't much. I also want to cancel Victoria Secret eventually, because I got that before I knew having too many open, unused cards is bad. But I know I will have to wait a while before doing that. Another question I have, I know doing it either way will affect my score, but which will hurt it less? If you could include some resources, that would be great! Thanks!!
Credit Card Authorized User Benefits? My dad recently got a Home Depot credit card for his business and added me as an authorized user onto his account. The card is great because there is over 20k in credit limits but my question is, since I am an authorized user will I be able to get a positive credit score from this card? Because I have no worries with this card, its always paid up to date by his accountant and on time. I have been questioning this quite a bit because I remember FICO was excluding a practice similar called "Piggybacking"? Thanks in advance for any info, Danny
Closing a credit card within 3 months doesnt affect my credit score? I have recently opened up 3 credit cards at home depot within the last month as they told me that the card won't affect your credit score if closed within 3 months. Any truth to this? I'm assuming they are telling the truth and not intentionally messing with people. Thanks
Credit Card Question!!! HELPP!!!!!!!!!? Im using a Home Depot credit card on Sephora.com to pay. Do I say its a : Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex, or JCPenny?
Is it bad to apply for more then one credit card in a day? Im trying to get a new credit card to do a balance transfer from my Home Depot credit card before the APR rate goes up to 25% in October. I just applied for the Blue American Express card and was declined. Can I try another card today? Or should I wait? My credit score is in the mid 600's and I just bought a house in March, so I thought that I was good to go when applying for a card. Also, I was wondering, do any credit cards do the balance transfer or only certain ones?
Did you recieve a charge from Synergy Design Solutions after shopping at Home Depot? I shopped at Home Depot using my Visa Debit Card on May 5 and on The 16th I recieved a charge from Synergy Design Solutions for $11.89 When I Googled The company name I found that they were a fradulent company posting these charges on my account and there might be a connection to my shopping at Home Depot as others had dealt with the same circumstances. I am wondering if there is a leak in Home Depots credit card department sending out peoples information to this company. If you had faced similar charges of circumstances I would like to hear from you. if you would like to learn more please go to my blog on this subject. as I am trying to dig up as much info as possible to investigate. http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-CucV2.Q8cqVk9L8XCG9.h3UpBtk-;_ylt=AjMtHd9v6RVwb5pEk_kzeE2kAOJ3?cq=1
Did you shop at Home depot and get a fradulent charge on you credit card from Synergy Design Solutions? Recently I had shoped at home depot and 2 weeks later got a charge on my credit card from Synergy Design solutions. I googled it and found several people who indeed shop at home depot and got the same fradulent charge of $11.89 on their accounts. But I need more examples as I intend on suing Home depot for letting my personal information out to such a fradulent company. I have had to cancel my credit card and get a new one and also then notify my creditors of the change. This also had the result of overdrawing my account. If anyone else is a victim of this please post in.

After I close on my mortgage if I close I would like to get a gas card and a home deposit card.
Are Home Depot and Lowe's credit cards hard or easy to get? Some friends of mine told me that when you buy a home they practically give them away. I wasn't sure about that. Ok I didn't literally mean they gave them away..just that most people who have bought a home with not so perfect credit have gotten one a little easier than any card before.
Credit score and credit card issue? Hey how are you all doing?? My question reguards to my capital one credit card and my credit score. I am 20 years old i have had this card for about a year and a half now. My purpose for getting this card was to get some credit built up for when i get out in the real world. I have a 1500 dollar credit limit and i try to keep it 80 percent full.. I never miss a payment and i always pay 3-5x what the minimum payment is. One other tid bid of information, I fell on some hard times these past months and over drew on it twice, I imediatly paid it back down as soon as i realized my error. My question is i have seen my score drop from 730 down to 627 (before i over drew on it) I for the life of me cant figure out why, it seems to be a lose lose situation if i dont have any credit at all i have no score, if i have to much credit i have a bad score.... Can any body help me figure out why my score has dropped so low, and how i can get it back up fast. At this point im contiplating(sp) paying it all the way off and getting rid of it. Also i have a home depot credit card that carries a 0 balance i only have this incase i need supplies in a hurry.... I keep it high for two reasons, one i heard that if you keep it around 60 it shows you use the credit there for raising your score becasue they want to give you more. And two so i have something to pay on.

Buying Home Depot store credit...? There is a guy on criags list selling his home depot "store credit." 1. Is this a gift card or do they have a seprate card for "store credit" (like he returned something without the reciept so they gave him store credit). 2. I was reading that they give you store credit if you pay for an item with a check and then return it before 15 days is up. So my concern is that this guy bought something with a bum check and then the next day returned it for store credit and when his check does not clear they will cancel the store credit? We thought of having home depot just transfer the amount onto our own store credit or gift card, but that could mean still problem if he used bum check and he could call and cancel the gift card that was bought with "his" store credit. So you can see my concern, but my husband says it will be fine and we will go in to cerify the credit left on the card (the guy told me it was a gift card and my husband it was a card for store credit)...is there a difference. I'm sure you see my concerns, what should we do? The card is for 649 and he said he'd sell it to us for 500 becuase he's trying to make his rent. Home depot does not do gift cards for more than 500...so there must be a seprate card that says store credit on it so it can be cancelled by home sepot if your check does not clear. I'm worried about the 15 days thing becuase if he check does not clear for whatever he bought and then returned home depot will not accept the store credit.
What is the best type of installment loan for someone that only has credit cards? I am rebuilding my credit and trying to improve my credit score. I have an SUV that I bought outright and only have credit cards ( A bank Visa, Mastercard, a couple of retail credit cards, gas card. I have no installment loans and I rent a home. I just added a Home Depot card to the mix and of course my credit score dropped. I use Wamu and they give you ways to rebuild your credit and analyze your score every month. This month it told me for the first time one of the reasons my score is the way it is is because I have no installment loans and I should have a good mix.. My credit score is still just below 680 which is required to get a decent loan interest rate so I don't want to really go into more debt until my big ugly repo from 2001 falls off next year which I"m sure will raise it considerably..( I made some mistakes when I was young) Can someone give me some advice?
I accidentally set my credit card to pay in full instead of minumum. The payment is gone out my checking now.? The bank took the 1500 out of my checking thought I only had 300 which I thought was stupid. So now I'm way overdrafted. I called Home Depot credit services, which who the card is from, and they said it's done and over. The bank said there was nothing that chould be done either. Do I have any options at all? What I don't understand is why they didn't reject it in the first place since there was such a huge difference of funds available

WHERE CAN I FIND CREDIT CARDS FOR SMALL BUSINESS WITHOUT USING MY CREDIT? i have just opened a home depot card, like three months ago. trying to establish credit..
Does this seem logical? Do a short sale on one home we own, and buy something that we will stay in for years? My husband and I are in such a jam. We had a beautiful home that we rented out to a woman who was to do a lease option. Well, she ended up dragging it out for so long, that we gave her a 30 day notice. To make a long story short, she is behind 4 months of rent, did not move out, we had to take her to court...and she trashed our home. The amount of money it would take to fix it would be about $50-75K. My husband and I are looking into doing a short sale on it. We probably would have to take a negative hit on it, and maybe owe $50-75 on it. So, it seems like a wash to me. a. we have a house that has been remodeled but we owe $50-75 in debt to Lowes, Home Depot, credit cards for fixing it up. b. we do a short sale, get rid of the house, but still have some sort of loan unless the bank agrees to eat the money. Our question is. Should we do the short sale and buy something that we will stay in for a long time, not knowing how the short sale will effect our credit?
I have two credit card $2800 and $2600 balance. I finally have the money but should I leave $50 balance? One of the card was actually a Providian card who got bought by Washington Mutual and then got bought by Chase. Chase closed my account or revoked because my credit history has delinquent payment on a home depot card which is paid off. I am worried that now if I pay off my Chase card and the capital one card off all the way they will close my account or reduce my credit limit. It is sad after Obama talked about passing new law on the credit card companies I received a letter from all my credit card compnay that they are raising my APR to 29.99. Should I pay off but a little balance so that they dont close my account? Please no one line answers or if you dont have no idea dont just leave comment.
I have 5 Credit Cards 2 that I never use. Better to keep or cancel? I have five credit cards two I never use and one I occasionally use but I could do w/ out it because it's really not neccessary. The two I never use are a target credit card and a home depot credit card. The one I occasionally use (maybe once a year) is a best buy credit card. The others are a visa and a mastercard but I typically just use my visa debit card through my bank. Anyway all of these cards in question have a zero balance and have been that way for a while so my question is, is it better for my credit score (which is already above 700) to cancel the cards or just keep them open and never use them?
How do I complain about ads on yahoo web site? I have used MyYahoo as my home page for years and have seen some anoying ads. There is a new Home Depot ad that is so annoying, that I cut up my Home Depot credit card by 11am and had to switch to a new home page. I have not found any links on yahoo to complain or make suggestions.
Can I use a home depot 20% off coupon with store credit? I returned something and got store credit instead of a gift card or cash. Can I use a 20% off home depot with it? thanks
Should I cancel a credit card I don't use anymore? I currently have three credit cards. the first is my Wells Fargo Visa which I use often, the second is a Home Depot card that has a zero balance and I rarely use it at all, and the third is an automotive repair card called CarCareOne with GE Money that also has a zero balance and I never use it. I was going to get an American Express to have for a good long term card to build credit along with my Wells Fargo Visa. Should I cancel the two cards with no balance that I don't use and get the AMEX, or should I just keep them and have 4 cards or should I not get the AMEX at all and cancel the two others??? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I had my credit pulled a year ago when I purchased my truck and it was 713 at that time. Keeping it high is the main goal and I've never paid anything late in my life. I am 23 years old and a home owner.(just to give some background)

My husband and I are in a finiancial bind. We have credit card debt due next month but can't afford it. Help? My husband and I started a construction business that flourishes in the summer but in the winter not sooo good. We have been married for a year and own our own home. We got credit cards from Menards and Home Depot to remodle the inside. Now the balances are due and we both have no means to pay them. We don't want to pay the interest at all and we can't even get a loan because we're both 21 and have little credit not "bad credit"....yet. What should we do to get back on our feet and learn from this experiance? I have a job but it doesn't help and we live in the small town of Munising, MI..... everybody knows everybody and all jobs are taken. Help.....Please

Thanks I need something that I can sign-up for ONLINE not in the store........ Thanks
My fiance was advised to obtain a credit card to raise his score? Is it just as effective to get a card for a department store or something like Home Depot as it is to obtain a Visa or MC? His current low credit score is due to lack of credit, not due to mismanagement of credit
Landlord, former landlords, and current or previous renters? I'm applying for an apartment and the only "bad" thing on my credit report is that I owe about $800 on a credit card and $500 on a line of credit with my bank. I bough a brand new car in 2003 and paid it off. I also have a Home Depot credit card that I've never used but it is an open account. None of my payments have ever been late. Is this acceptable enough for a $700/month apartment?? I'm nervous
What are the chances of me getting a credit card? I turn eighteen tomorow. I was going to apply for a credit card through my bank (bank of America). I obviously have no credit. What are the chances of me getting approved? And possibly would i get approved for one though some place like Kohls, Wal-Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, Etc? i babysit not sure if that counts, only make about 600 a month from that. also what is a secured credit card?
Home depot ripoff . . .? I bought a home depot gift card in the amount of 50.00 as a Christmas gift to my boyfriend. He lost the card. When I went to have the card replaced, cause it states on the card, they will be replaced with required proof of purchase, Home Depot said they would not replace it cause I paid cash. If I had written a check for it or charged on a credit card, they would replace it. No matter how I paid for it, they can trace the card to see if it's been used, void it and reissue. I have my receipt. Fought over two months about it, filed with State Attorney General, Better Business Bueare (sp) and Federal Trade Commission. No one would help. Anyone else have this problem with home depot? Anyone have any suggestions? They ripped me off.

Signed for credit card w/former employer. He stopped paying now Bank is trying to get me to pay.? Former employer sent me to Home Depot to get a credit card. Signed for signed for card and had to put my social security on it. They said it was for if he ever went out of business I would be the guarantor. I quit about 8 mos later because he stopped paying me. Now he refuses to pay on card and Citibank has turned it over to collections. He is still in business, just refuses to pay but they say I am liable and are pursuing me because he "has made it clear he is not going to pay on the account? Is this legal or Ok or what. I know I messed up signing in the first pllace but whats done is done, I just don't know what to do from here. The business is in La. and I live in small Tx stateline community. I would really appreciate any advice. Forgot to put this. The card is in the company name and company EIN. When I first questioned my responsibility, the card co. investigated and said it was in co. name & EIN with my signature as guarrantor and I did not owe it. He obtained an original copy of app which had my social on it. One more, I didn't have to cancel the card, the employer cancelled it. Really messed up is if I pay it, he gets the benefit of paid account, if I don't I get stuck with a hit on my report.
Can I cancel old store credit card and apply for a new one on a different store? Last year August 2007, I applied for a store credit card at Lazy Boy and the financial institution is Wells Fargo. I've never use it because we didn't buy the furniture that we were suppose to. The card will expire on July 2009. Right now, I personally have a platinum credit card thru my bank (Wells Fargo). I plan to apply a store credit card (no down/no interest/no payment for 12 months) at Home Depot or Lowes, because we plan to buy materials to do our flooring. Should I cancel my Lazy Boy store credit card and apply? Or just leave it as is and apply for Home Depot/Lowes financing card? Will this hurt my score?
Anyone ever settled a credit card account with citibank? How did you do it? Who did you talk to? I have a home depot account that hasn't been pd in over a year with a balance close to 5k. It is currently with a collection agency that will not accept a settlement. I have recently recovered a settlement in a lawsuit, and have offered a settlement to citibank and the collection agency of 2k which is over 40% of the balance. The collection company told me I could pay installments of 25 per month or send the balance in full. No settlement. Just got off the phone woth citibank...same story, and the citibank rep would not send me to a supervisor or manager. Any suggestions?
How do I get rid of an unused credit card? Got it from Home Depot when fixing my house and don't use it any more. Should I just burn it, or do I have to contact the company first for some reason?
How do I get my b/f of 11 months to buy a fridge and stove?Real anwsers please.? We have been together now for almost a year and he still doesn't have a fridge and stove for his apartment. This has been a source of many arguments.I keep on telling him that he needs them and that I am tired of eating fast food. And also wondering where my next meal is going to come from when I visit him.He keeps on telling me that he doesn't need to buy them and that I should. He also told me to take out a Home Depot credit card to purchase these items. It feels like I am talking to a wall and I am frustrated.I also gave him an ultimatum.I told him that if he doesn't get them soon,I will leave.Should I dump him over this issue or what should I tell him about this? Please help and only real answers.
Which major retailers can do a credit card lookup of your receipt (for return purposes)? Some stores allow you to return items without a receipt if you present a credit card used in the original purchase. I know Target does it, but don't know of anyone else. Particularly interested if this is available at any home improvement stores (Lowes, Home Depot) and major department stores. I'm in Maryland. Thanks.
Can you pay your Home Depot account at the store? I hate writing checks and wondered if you can go into the store and pay the balance on the revolving credit store card with customer service?
Did I pay too much for my sunroom? I just signed my contract to have a 12 by 12 cathedral sunroom built. The room is double pane glass all around including the top portion of the cathedral walls (not the roof) and they are also building the cement slab that will measure 15 by 12. The price also includes ceiling fan pre-wire and cutting out a window in my kitchen to make an arched way opening with rounded corners into the room. The sunroom has no doors since it is being added to my kitchen. Now I am having second thoughts about the cost. I am paying $22,000. This cost includes pretty much everything associated with building this sunroom. The company that manufactures the sunroom is Temo and I am going through Home Depot (I'm getting 1 year no payment/interest since I am using my Home Depot credit card for the sunroom) Did I get ripped off? By the way, I forgot to mention this room is for my home in Central Florida. We just decided to extend the sunroom to 13 by 12 for an extra $1,000 so the new price is $23,000.
Under age Credit Card usage, am I responsible for this? In jan of 2007, when I was 17 years old, I had lied on my age on a credit application to American Express for a credit card. A few days later It came in the mail with a $2000 Limit. I had regretfully used it. In Feburary, American Express had sent me another CC and I did not use that one nor applied. Also in Feb applied for Chase credit card and also lied on the app about my age. I Recieved it in the mail with a 2K limit. Desprate for rent, I had applied for 3 more credit cards all supplied from chase and had recieved them all with another 3K limit, 5K limit and 2800 limit. And also regretfully used it all. In the same month I applied for Target (never used but got), Sears (used 250) Imagine(used 300) Credit one(used 300), home depot (used 500) another Imagine(Used 300). I regretfully used them all. I am scared... Im not sure what to do. Now there in collections. In july I turned 18, and they call looking for the money. Am I responsible for the debt? What can I do?
Who offers an instant use credit card? I need a card that I can use instantly once I apply for the card ONLINE. Like for example if you go into Home Depot and apply for a card they give you your card number instantly so you are able to shop in their store but I need something I can put through online. If you have an idea of what card, please be specific and let me know exactly which company offers this for what card. Thanks Thanks
Good gift card reward for signing up for a credit card? I was looking for a good deal to get a good reward, preferably a high valued gift card for signing up for a credit card. Last year amex ran a special for signing up for a credit card and getting $250 home depot gift card. Wondering if there is anything of this nature still out there. Thanks. shh, can i have a link to the card? and as for the second answer. don't need your spam. thanks. that link pertains in no way to my question.

debit/credit card fraud? I recently had someone clone my debit/check card (several times), and fraudulent charges were made on my account. These charges all occurred in California, and I live in Texas. My question is...what is the punishment if the offenders are caught? I have filed a police report, had my debit card "hot-carded" and canceled, and received provisional credit for the charges from my bank, thankfully. However, I want these criminals to be caught. They used my card at several gas stations and other places, such as Home Depot and Petco. Does anyone think that there is a chace that they will be caught and if so, what will be the punishment? I am pretty sure there is surveillance in at least one of these locations...at least I am hoping there is. I am happy that I got my money back, but I also have been told that my card was probably "skimmed" here in texas at a bar or restaurant I visited, cloned, and sold illegally. I just would like these jerks to get punished, like many other people who have been screwed, too.
How do I cancel a credit card? I have about 10 credit cards and want to cancel about half of them just to help with my credit score. Is there a way for me to cancel them and then if I have to, apply for them again? The thing is, a lot of them are to different stores like Home Depot, Best Buy... and if I canceled it and then needed to do a repair to my home that I needed to charge I wouldn't have the credit card anymore. Also, what's the best way to cancel a credit card? Do I just call the # on the back and follow the instructions or is there an easier way so I don't have to talk to anyone?
which home depot is store #1262? i need to know to check my credit card statement
What does the fine print mean???? saw in my paper today that home depot has no interest no payments on credit card purchases $299 and over. While reading the fine print, it listed the apr for purchases of $2000 or more. I was going to get a washer/dryer that would be a little over that. Does that mean it wouldn't apply? Here are the terms from the home depot site. "FINANCE CHARGES accrue from the date of purchase and all accrued FINANCE CHARGES will be added to your Account for the entire promotional period if qualifying purchases, including premiums for optional credit insurance, are not paid in full before the end of the deferred payment period or if you fail to make any required payment on your Account when due. See below for details.* *With credit approval for purchases made on the Home Depot Consumer Credit Card. APR for purchases: 21% and 15.48% for purchases of $2,000 or more; Default Rate for purchases of $2,000 or more APR: 19%. Minimum Finance Charge $1.00. " I understand the no interest part only if I pay off the amount in full. I am question if the $299 or more applies to purchases over $2000. I don't want to buy them thinking I have the no interest offer to find out I do because I purchased $2001.
Bad/No Credit Credit Cards? Which Ones??? I have no credit and I'm trying to build credit. I have a Macy's card because they approved me. are there any other stores like Macy's that will approve me for an in-store credit card with no credit? like Home Depot, Target, anywhere in the Florida area?
credit card? I am just asking a question regardign charging. I need an air conditioner while I am waiting for my central air unit to be fix. Now, home depot is offering interest free for 12 or should I charge the air conditioner to my current card? Thank you for your opinion I realize if the balance is not paid by the end of the 12 months, then i will have to pay the a higher bal. Right now, I am awaiting on my insurance person.
Credit card collections or a scam?? We got home from work today to find a message on our answering machine about a legal suit that will be filed tomorrow pending a conversation with my husband. We called them back and it is a collections company calling on behalf of Home Depot (we have a card and are delinquent). The individual stated that if we do not pay them at least $600 TODAY, there will be a claim filed within our county, and they will charge us for legal fees, etc. etc., They said we need to call them back within the hour. We have $600, but it is supposed to pay our taxes which are obviously due tomorrow! HELP!! We did a reverse look-up of the number that they asked us to call them back on and it is linked (according to google) to a company called ACL, the person we spoke to said she was from NCO and that she was hired today to collect the funds and that after today we are to contact Citicards. She laughed when my husband told her he wanted to have the debt validated under the Fair Debt Collection Act. We are going to take our chances that this is not a "real" collection call, and pay our taxes instead. *Keeping fingers crossed that this was a scam*
What other credit cards are there? I'm trying to improve my credit score or in other words build my credit and I want to apply for some credit cards, but credit cards from stores like JCpenny and Home Depot. What are some other stores that offer credit cards?
Do I have too many cards? Okay I have: -Capital One Platinum credit card - JC Penney Card - Home Depot card - Best Buy - Walmart - Sears - Dillards - Kay Jewelers - Friedmans - Ostermans That is it. But I dont owe a lot and I make my payments every month. I only owe $370 on my capital one card, $100 on Best Buy card, $40 on Walmart card, $200 on Sears card, $20 on Dillards, and $350 on Friedmans card. Is that too much or am I okay? Who is responsible for double charge on my debit card? I went to Home Depotand purchaset stuff for $600 we split this amount between my debit card and HD credit card, we first slide my debit card and enter the pin number then in the middle of charging the rest on HD credit card we wanted to know if we could put our Tax number to HD card charge, the cashier went and backed up the transaction but didn't cancel my debit card charge, witch I didn't know about. Then he wanted to slide my debit card again and then HD credit card and we finished out purchas. I found out about this debit card doubel charge (twice $300) month later and called my bank to claim this error. Now 2 months later bank is still refusing resolve my problem and told me I have to call Home Depot and ask for my money. I took all of my money out of my bank account because I know they would take my $300. witch they put the second time back to my account, out. I feel hopeless. Well thank you everyone for your answer.I have called my bank and I deal with them for 2 months now, they investigated in the style that they called HD and verefy if my card# was corret and pin#.They put all my money back minwhile this "ivestigation" witch came back as corret so they wrote me letter that no mistake was made and they are taking their money back,so I called and tell them I'm going to fille a law suit and name her in it if this won't get resolved and I want my money back. She asked if I have a recip - bud how do I prove that I didn't buy it twice I said and the lady from bank said "oh,that makes sence" so I feels like they don't even listen,I was frustraded. Then I called HD and tell them the whole story 2x and they just issued new reciep. Then I told her she missunderstud big time.I don't need reciep.I need her to tell me what did I bought for the additional $300 (that was week ago) and haven't hear from her since.Yesterday bank wanted to take the money out of my acc.again. But i took all the money out.I need to pay my stuff and this will finally get their attention hopefully. I felt like noone was really listening to my story. HD or Washington Mutual. They really don't understand I shouln'd be draged like this and that I told them there is a problem and they didn't even cared, they (WM) got paid by HD for leting the store using their card transactions but don't know how to comunicate together when mistakes are made. The bank told me to call HD and ask for the money. They just put their hands off of my case like that. After this is going to be solved I'm deffinitelly changing a bank.
